Glycol Dehydrators, part of natural gas dehydration systems, remove water vapor from gas streams to prevent the formation of hydrates and corrosion in pipelines.
Gas Production Unit
Gas Production Units consist of an indirect heater and separator, skid mounted with interconnecting piping and instrumentation, ready for operation. Enclosed units are available.
Fuel Gas Skid
Exterran’s Fuel Gas Skid removes contaminants and liquids from the natural gas stream and pressure regulates it to prepare for use as fuel and instrument gas supply for the other equipment.
Used to control the temperature of the flow stream, coolers are forced draft ambient air heat exchangers and are available with gas engines or electric motors.
Indirect Line Heater
Indirect Line Heaters are used with high pressure natural gas streams to counteract the Joule-Thomson (JT) effect where a reduction in temperature occurs at the choke when the well stream pressure is rapidly reduced to sales line pressure. They can also be used to heat gas or oil in transmission lines.
JT (Joule-Thomson) Assembly
The JT Assembly provides hydrocarbon dew point control and increased recovery of natural gas liquids (NGL). The JT Plant consists of: a gas-to-gas heat exchanger with hot gas bypass, liquid-to-gas heat exchanger, JT valve, cold separator, methanol injection system and control system, all mounted on a single skid.
